PeopleSoft System Administrator
Location: Hybrid in Barcelona
Work Type: Freelance or full-time
Salary: Up to 60K
We are currently looking for an experienced PeopleSoft System Administrator to support and enhance a large-scale PeopleSoft Financials environment. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation, performance, and evolution of the platform, working within a collaborative Agile squad alongside developers, DBAs, and product owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and upgrade PeopleSoft Financials (v9.2+) and core modules (PC, CA, CM).
- Manage incidents, changes, and recurring problems in line with ITIL best practices.
- Perform system monitoring and apply patches (Java, Tuxedo, WebLogic) per Oracle recommendations.
- Handle production operations and manage product obsolescence risks.
- Support environment creation, refreshes, code migrations, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot PeopleSoft components such as Application Servers, Web Servers, Process Schedulers, Integration Broker, and App Engines.
- Ensure system health, performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, providing estimates and continuous improvement suggestions.
️ Technical Skills Required
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Administration in a multi-instance environment.
- Deep knowledge of PeopleTools 8.60+ and PeopleSoft Financials 9.2+.
- Hands-on experience with Process Scheduler, Tuxedo, WebLogic, Application Designer, Data Mover, and Integration Broker.
- Familiarity with SQR, Crystal, Change Assistant, Upgrade Assistant.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server 2019+.
- Ability to configure PIA, servers, SSO, SSL certificates, and WebLogic patches.
- Proven ability to debug App Engines, SQRs, workflow, and tune server configurations.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with both local and remote teams.
- Capacity to adapt quickly and a willingness to learn continuously.
- Fluent in English.
