Job Description
People Solutions - HR Senior Associate 
At PwC Ireland, you'll be part of a purpose driven organisation dedicated to building trust in society and solving our clients' most complex challenges. This 12 month fixed term contract places you in the PeopleSolutions HR Operations team within People & Culture, where you'll handle a full spectrum of core HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with stakeholders across the PeopleSolutions team and the business to deliver proactive, solution focused HR services.
- Monitor and uphold service excellence, ensuring KPI's and Service Delivery Targets are consistently met and aligned with our commitment to high standards.
- Lead and deliver initiatives for PeopleSolutions, ensuring deadlines are met and team members are equipped, trained, and empowered to deliver required services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the team, providing insights and guidance on complex HR matters and supporting the development of junior team members.
- Navigate complex employee relations matters such as performance improvement plans (PIPs) with confidence.
- Effectively delegate tasks to team members, ensuring clear ownership, balanced workloads, and timely execution across the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Centres of Excellence to deliver excellent service, understanding their needs and challenges.
- Lead HR projects that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across PeopleSolutions.
- Identify and implement process improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and value creation.
- Embrace emerging technologies, supporting the team in developing digital skills and adopting new tools that enhance service delivery.
- Promote team wellbeing while fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.
- Support the development of junior team members by recognising strengths, managing performance, and encouraging open and constructive feedback.
- Actively seek to broaden understanding of the business and its strategic priorities, demonstrating curiosity and adaptability while contributing to the embedding of our people value proposition.
- Support or manage other ad hoc tasks, projects or initiatives in the People & Culture team as they arise.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with stakeholders to deliver strategic HR services.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in HR systems and the MS Office Suite; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic thinker with a problem solving mindset.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive and self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on HR trends.
- Ability to constructively question the status quo and propose creative ideas to address observed gaps.
