The role

As a People Programme Lead, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-impact programmes that support our Group People strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to lead meaningful change across a global organisation that supports defence, aerospace and engineering sectors that underpin national security and essential services.

This is a role where your expertise will directly influence organisational performance and culture, while offering you the chance to grow your own leadership and programme management capability.

Day-to-day, you'll work at the heart of our Corporate Services function, driving strategic initiatives that enhance how we attract, develop and empower our people.

  • Leading the planning and delivery of people-focused programmes using structured project methodologies
  • Driving stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment across teams and business units
  • Managing project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate
  • Delivering high-quality analysis, insights and presentations to support decision-making
  • Inspiring teams by clearly communicating programme goals and connecting them to wider business objectives

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential Experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex projects and programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills across multiple levels
  • Proven ability to produce clear, impactful presentations and insights
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing business priorities

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
