People Team

Our People team, also known as Monzo Magic, focuses on Mission, Action, Growth, Inclusion, and Care. We empower a diverse, high performing, innovative and agile workforce to deliver impactful banking experiences.

Role

We are growing our Customer Operations People Partner team and are looking to hire an experienced People Partner. You will work side by side with leaders across Customer Operations to design and deliver their people strategy and deliver excellent people experience in the areas you support. Part of the Operations leadership team, your home team will be the People Collective, providing information, expertise, support, and encouragement.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a strategic and trusted partner to Directors across our Operations teams, creating and delivering against a people plan that enables Monzonauts to solve problems with empathy and pace to deliver effortless, uniquely Monzo experiences for customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership teams across Operations to drive high performance, engagement and healthy organisation design.
  • Own the people's life cycle within your business area proactively iterating and improving your approach as you go.
  • Collaborate with our Diversity Lead to drive measurable change in company level D&I goals within Tech & Business teams.
  • Identify and surface trends in data to improve organisational health and drive change through your stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for supporting headcount management decisions, aligned for budget for the areas.
  • Empower and coach managers to level up as leaders and be the best they can be.
  • Help teams develop strong diversity and inclusion practices.
  • Work with the leads in People (Learning & Development, Reward, Talent, etc.) to define team specific requirements.
  • Monitor external trends to inform best practices internally.
Qualifications
  • You have experience of building strong, trusting relationships with Directors level stakeholders.
  • You have significant experience as a People Partner working with varied operational business areas.
  • Inclusion is at the forefront of your mind at all times.
  • You can prioritise in a fast paced, high growth environment.
  • You have designed, delivered and embedded new ways of doing things.
  • You're comfortable analysing data to make data based decisions.
  • You have experience in organisational design, employee relations, succession planning and talent development.
