Hybrid role - remote working with occasional travel to Bristol and London offices

Role

The People Partner - Change & Transformation at Bupa Dental Care leads people led change and transformation across the business, supporting the delivery of the People Strategy and wider organisational priorities. The role enables successful design, implementation and embedding of change, ensuring transitions are well planned, legally robust and sustainably adopted. It involves leading complex people change initiatives and partnering with leaders through periods of transformation rather than providing day to day operational people support.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver people led change and transformation activity aligned to the People Plan, working in partnership with People Business Partners and the central People Change team.
  • Own and drive people change projects, including organisation and team redesign, restructures, practice closures, acquisitions, divestments and wider workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the People lead on change programmes, ensuring people impacts are understood, risks are mitigated and change is effectively embedded.
  • Use people data, metrics and insight (e.g. strategic people metrics and risk indicators) to diagnose issues, shape change solutions and inform decision making.
  • Partner with managers and leaders to build their capability to lead teams through change, providing guidance, challenge and support throughout periods of transition.
  • Work closely with People Centres of Excellence to design and deliver joined up change solutions, bringing in the right expertise at the right time.
  • Contribute to engagement, communication and change adoption activity, ensuring colleagues understand and are supported through organisational change.
  • Ensure all change activity is compliant with employment legislation, consultation requirements and internal governance frameworks.
Skills / Experience
  • Strong generalist HR background with significant experience delivering organisational change and transformation.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex people change initiatives within a large, multi site organisation.
  • Experience across organisation design, restructures, TUPE transfers, mergers and acquisitions, closures and divestments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working within a business partnering model, supporting leaders to deliver strategic change outcomes.
  • Proven experience leading change projects from a people perspective, from planning through to implementation.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance people risk, business priorities and pace.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
About You
  • Agile: Manages multiple priorities effectively and can pivot quickly based on business needs.
  • Great Communicator: Conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. For example, seeks out others' perspectives and asks good questions. Shares information that people want to know; gives appropriate context and details when speaking.
  • Growth Mindset: Has a growth mindset and takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, and enthusiasm. Identifies what needs to be done and acts quickly. Shows optimism and enthusiasm that affects others positively. Works independently, but knows when to ask for help.
  • Results Driven: Consistently achieves results. Demonstrates consistent effort to complete deliverables in a timely manner; maintains work focus despite obstacles or setbacks and is resourceful to find alternative solutions.
  • Data Led: Leverages people KPIs to generate insight that ensures effective business decision making.
  • Collaborative: Works well with peers and key stakeholders, builds cross functional teams and leverages expertise from across the business for diversity of thought and building optimal solutions.
