THE POSITION

The organization has ambitious growth plans, delivering 20% annual growth and expanding across the UK, Europe, and North America. Reporting to the Head of People, this role provides comprehensive generalist People Operations and advisory support to a client group of approximately 600 employees in the UK and some international HR support for around 400 employees across Europe and North America. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and advising on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring fair and consistent handling of HR matters in accordance with UK employment law and company requirements

  • Providing support to managers on performance management, including managing probationary periods and annual appraisals

  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including inductions, managing the onboarding process, overseeing leaver procedures, and conducting exit interviews

  • Assisting managers with Employee Relations issues, attendance, disciplinary actions, and grievances, including coaching and case management from start to finish

  • Maintaining HR procedures, templates, KPIs, and HR systems and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Supporting audit processes and maintaining SOC2 certification by aligning processes with standards

  • Managing HR data for accuracy, security, and completeness

  • Preparing HR reports, analytics, and insights regularly and on demand, supporting HR projects with data and analysis

  • Mentoring the People Ops Assistant and supporting global People Ops initiatives

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We seek results-oriented candidates with a strong data understanding and excellent analytical skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel and a desire to develop technical skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have proven experience at this level, preferably holding CIPD Level 5, with a background supporting similar-sized client groups. Experience supporting UK and international employees is desirable, with a strong generalist HR background capable of coaching, advising, and providing business partnering HR services. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and agility in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
