We're now looking for a People Development Partner - Early Careers to join our Nottingham team. This is an opportunity to shape the future of talent at Gleeds: designing and delivering engaging early careers programmes that inspire, develop, and elevate the next generation.
You'll create experiences that truly resonate, ensuring every early career professional feels supported, challenged, and set up to succeed-while playing a pivotal role in strengthening our long term talent pipeline and bringing our people strategy to life.
Responsibilities Early Career programme ownership and design- Act as programme owner for Gleeds early career development portfolio, with accountability for the design, structure and ongoing evolution of early career programmes aligned to business needs.
- Design, manage and deliver structured early career programmes, including the Construct Graduate Programme, Early Career apprenticeship programmes and professional qualification pathways.
- Design and deliver soft skills capability within early career programmes including communication, presentation skills, stakeholder management, professional behaviours and effectiveness in client facing environments.
- Own the design and governance of programme structures including toolkits, templates, internships, placements and rotational experiences.
- Take overall responsibility for the ongoing review and development of early career programmes, regularly reviewing programme content, structure and learner experience to ensure continued relevance, quality and alignment with business needs.
- Assess the programme effectiveness through feedback, outcomes and data and drive continuous improvement to strengthen development impact and the early career talent pipeline.
- Work proactively with Early Careers Talent Acquisition to ensure all early career talent have a high quality onboarding experience.
- Work proactively with Early Career Talent Acquisition and the People Development team to ensure the Growth and Skills Levy expenditure is planned and effectively managed.
- Collaborate with SMEs, technical leads and wider business stakeholders to co design programme content and support professional qualification and progression pathways.
- Work collaboratively across the wider people team to shape and deliver the early career offering and support early career assessment and progression.
- Provide People Development support to early career and graduates support groups, cohorts and networks to enhance the learner experience.
- Embed key people development frameworks, e.g. MyCheck ins, career conversations, FIR principles and Gleeds approach to development consistently across early career programmes.
- Manage queries related to early career programmes.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People Development team on development related projects and with the wider People Team on people related projects.
- Focusing on UK early careers and sharing good practice with other regions to support global people development.
- This role focuses on the design, delivery and continuous improvement of early career development programmes and experiences. It does not involve line management or day to day management of early career employees.

- Proven track record in delivering the whole learning cycle - needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation - ideally within Early Careers.
- Understanding of placement, internship, apprenticeship, graduate and professional accreditation pathways.
- Experience of working with the Growth and Skills Levy (previously the Apprenticeship Levy).
- Ability to create structured development content, toolkits and guidance for use across the business.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills.
- Highly organised, quality focused and able to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Self motivated, team player with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Degree educated.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred.
