People Business Partner, FTC, Financail Services

Overview

Our client is a global financial services company head-quartered in Guernsey. On their behalf we are looking for a people business partner to be based in Guernsey. This is envisaged to be a FTC for 18 months but could lead to a permanent position in time.

Role and duration

A 18-month fixed-term contract (FTC) with potential to transition to a permanent position in due course.

Level and qualifications

Applicants will be considered from senior advisor level up to business partner level. A recognised qualification such as CIPD level 5 will be required or evidence of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to local and group-wide HR and recruitment initiatives
• Help build engagement, improve working practices and embed the company's values into day to day practice
• Help navigate the complexities of working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory practice

Experience and preferences

• Previous experience of working in the financial services sector will be preferred
• The role is full time but a reduced hours role could be available for the right person
