Job Description

To provide support to the People & Culture department in all aspectsof HR operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioningof HR processes and in maintaining accurate employee records. Responsibilities toinclude recruitment support, employee onboarding, record management, and benefitsadministration. Working closely with People & Culture team you will assistall stages of the employee life cycle from recruiting to separation.

Main duties of the job

Supportthe wider HR function with general administrative support, to include,on-boarding joiners, exiting leavers, recruitment administration, induction,managing data and information, producing reports etc.

Provide comprehensivesupport within the HR team by dealing with general staff enquiries and correspondence.

Job responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Provideadministrative assistance in the companys recruitment and selectionprocedures, including:
  • Planand produce documentation for recruitment campaigns (with support from thePeople & Culture Assistant and Business Partner).
  • Placingadverts, reviewing applications and ensuring relevant recording of information
  • ArrangeInterview packs for the Interviewing Panel
  • Ens urerecords, information systems and files are maintained accurately, to allow aclear audit trail
  • Provideregular updates to People and Culture Business Partner regarding recruitmentactivities and progress.
  • Preparationof offer letter, contract of employment, new starter form, bank accountdetails, reference request responses, compliance e.g. DBS and qualifications

HumanResources

  • Respondingto appropriate queries sent to the Recruitment and HR shared inbox e-mails in atimely manner
  • EnsureHR checks are regularly monitored and identified actions promptly addressed.This includes the monitoring of clinician registration and ongoing employmentchecks that meet required standards
  • Issuingexit forms to leavers for feedback
  • Participatein HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, trainingand development activities.
  • Thepost-holder may have access to confidential information, all such informationfrom any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential.
  • Informationrelating to patients, carers, colleagues, other healthcare workers or thebusiness may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with thecompanies policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and theprotection of personal and sensitive data.
  • Anyother duties as directed by the People & Culture Business Partner orDirector of People and Culture.

HR systems

  • Providedata input for the PeopleHR portal to ensure all new starters documentation isuploaded and recorded in a timely manner
Person Specification Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and a respect for others
  • Strong attention to detail, producing accurate work at all times
  • Ability to engage with staff successfully and build strong relationships
  • Good timekeeper with ability to respond to urgent requests, and to organise their work to ensure that deadlines are met

  • Competent IT skills Microsoft Office, E-mail, and Internet software
  • Ability to work effectively on your own as well as in a team, and to balance competing priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain discretion at all times

  • Competent IT skills covering excel spreadsheets, power point and other software packages
  • Able to work effectively and collaborate as part of a team
  • Experience of Database systems
Qualifications
  • Good range and pass of GCSES and to include English and Maths Essential HR
  • Diploma/degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience in HR environment
  • Level 3 CIPD qualified or working towards
Experience
  • Experience of working in Human Resources in a similar role.
