THE ROLE:
Working alongside Partners and senior lawyers, you will advise a diverse client base of trustees, employers, and pension scheme providers on a broad range of pensions and life assurance matters.

The role offers a varied mix of high-quality advisory and transactional work. You will handle day-to-day scheme advisory matters, advising on governance, benefit structures, and regulatory compliance, as well as supporting pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and pensions-related documentation.

You will also play a key role in drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, member communications and legal advice, undertaking legal research and contributing to client meetings. With the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the wider firm, you will build broad technical expertise while developing strong client relationships and delivering clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 1-3 years' PQE and experience or exposure to pensions law. You will have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand and respond to clients' wider commercial objectives. Strong drafting and communication skills are essential, together with a proactive and organised approach to managing competing priorities. You will be a confident team player with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for developing your career within this specialist area of law.

The role would suit someone keen to broaden their experience and take an active role in the development of the team. A willingness to get involved in business development and thought leadership initiatives would be advantageous.

THE FIRM:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded international law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal advice. Its specialist Pensions team advises trustees, employers, and pension scheme providers across a broad range of complex and technical matters, working collaboratively with other practice areas to provide a seamless service to clients. The firm offers a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment where ambitious lawyers can develop their expertise and progress their careers.

THE PACKAGE:
Competitive salary and benefits package, including a hybrid working policy, excellent opportunities for professional development, specialist training, support, client exposure, and long-term career progression within a highly regarded Pensions practice.
