Are you an experienced pensions professional with a passion for client delivery, team leadership and driving service excellence? We're partnering with a leading UK consultancy seeking a Pensions Administration Manager to join their growing pensions admin team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established pensions administration professional to take ownership of a portfolio of clients while leading and developing high-performing teams. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service across a range of Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and CARE pension schemes.

The Opportunity

As a Pensions Administration Manager, you'll be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing service delivery, supporting commercial objectives, and ensuring administration teams consistently deliver a first-class experience for clients and scheme members.

You'll work closely with trustees, advisers and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted adviser on pensions administration matters while driving operational improvements and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of pension administration clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead, develop and motivate administration teams to achieve high performance.
  • Oversee service standards, quality controls and client expectations.
  • Manage projects, annual service plans and scheme-related initiatives.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex administration and client service issues.
  • Support commercial performance, including profitability, fee reviews and billing activity.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to business development activities.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Strong UK pensions administration experience, ideally within a Third Party Administration environment.
  • Experience managing workflows, projects and client service delivery.
  • A solid understanding of pensions legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
  • Proven leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected organisation that genuinely invests in its people and offers clear opportunities for long-term career development.
