Role OverviewThis role will have responsibility for the provision of an efficient, effective and customer focused administration service. It is primarily responsible for the day to day management of the Single Public Sector Superannuation Scheme (SPSPS) and the Nominated Health Agencies Superannuation Scheme (NHASS).
The post holder will be expected to proactively contribute to the development of Finance and HR, particularly in relation to the establishment and deployment of a Pension Management Information System.
Key Qualifications- Degree level in Accounting and Finance, HR, or Business
- Three years of pension administration experience or strong payroll/HR experience with pension exposure in HSE, Section 38/39 healthcare organisations, public sector bodies
- Strong knowledge of pension legislation, regulation and practices
- Experience managing the SPSPS and other applicable public sector superannuation schemes
- Skilled in working within a team environment
- Excellent numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with databases
- Understanding of public sector pay and pension policies, principles and practices
