Career Teachers is recruiting a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to work in secondary schools in the Sheffield S11 area. This role suits a teacher who can deliver high energy lessons and promote healthy, active lifestyles. As a Physical Education Teacher, the successful candidate will deliver high quality lessons that develop physical skills, teamwork, and knowledge of fitness and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Encourage participation and promote positive attitudes towards sport
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well managed learning environment
• Support extracurricular sport, clubs, and school competitions

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching PE in a school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for sport, fitness, and student development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
