Eccles and Irlam Primary CareNetwork are looking to recruit a PCN Project Support Officer to their team.
We are a network of 7 practicesand have a patient population of more than 80,000. The practices within ournetwork include: Mosslands Medical Practice, Irlam Clinic, Chapel Group MedicalCentre, St Andrews Medical Centre, Springfield Medical Practice, Monton Medicaland Salford Primary Care Together.
The Project Support Officer will work closelywith the Primary Care Network Manager, Clinical Director and PCN Board as wellas individual practices. The role will be based at various sites within thenetwork footprint in addition to remote/home working.
This role will play a key part in theongoing development of Eccles and Irlam Primary Care Network. As a Project Support Officer,you will provide direct support to the PCN Manager and Clinical Director. Thisrole will support the day-to-day functions of the PCN whilst assisting with theDirector, Manager and Members of the Board to further develop and deliveragainst the PCN strategic priorities.
Main duties of the jobThe PCN Project Support Officer provideshands-on administrative and coordination support to PCN projects andprogrammes. The role helps ensure projects are well organised, tracked, anddelivered on time, supporting clinicians and managers to focus on patient careand service improvement.

Job responsibilitiesKeyResponsibilities
Project andProgramme Support
Support the planning, delivery, and monitoring of PCN projects,including service development and transformation work
Maintain project plans, action logs, risk registers, and timelines
Track progress against milestones and flag risks or delays to the PCNManager
Support data collection and reporting for PCN programmes andcontractual requirements
Administrationand Coordination
Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up actions
Coordinate communication between practices, PCN teams, and externalpartners
Collation of invoices and support in the claim and payment process
Maintain accurate records, shared folders, and documentation
Support submission of reports, returns, and evidence for commissioners
Data andReporting
Collect, collate, and present information from multiple sources
Support preparation of dashboards, reports, and presentations
Ensure data is handled securely and in line with informationgovernance requirements
Support delivery of the PCNs digital strategic development
StakeholderSupport
Act as a point of contact for PCN projects
Support engagement with practices, community services, and otherpartners
Provide practical support to clinicians, ARRS roles, and managersinvolved in PCN work
General
Support continuous improvement by identifying more efficient ways ofworking
Contribute to a positive, collaborative PCN culture
Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role
Responsible for PCNasset register.
Undertake any otherreasonable duties as required.

Person Specification Experience- Experience of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of finance and budget management
- Experience of working in healthcare, Primary Care or the NHS.
- Understanding of PCNs or general practice
- Access to and ability to use transport to travel between sites
- Evidence of ongoing commitment to CPD
- Experience in an administrative, project support or co-ordination role
- Highly proficient IT skills including ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work flexibly and in a changing environment as part of a multi-professional team
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills including excellent minute taking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks whilst meeting deadlines
- Ability to analyse data or reporting experience
- Ability to plan effectively and think strategically to analyse and resolve problems
- Experience supporting projects or service improvement work
