More about the rolePeople orientated organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll specialist to join their reputable and complex business on a 6 month FTC with the potential to be extended.
Role is suitable for a confident payroll professional who can process payroll end to end and quickly embed themselves into a fast paced environment ensuring accurate, compliant payroll processing.
Working 2 3 days in the office hybrid working.
Responsibilities- Provide a high level of service to external clients while maintaining day to day, end to end payroll cycles.
- Process weekly and four weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client deadlines.
- Handle statutory payments calculations/adjustments including SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.
- Process complex payments and work well collaboratively as a team player.
- Liaise with external clients to support payroll queries.
- Calculate and process adjustments, holiday pay, bonuses, overtime, and salary changes.
- Ensure correct treatment of starters, leavers, P45/P46 starter checklists, and RTI submissions.
- Proven experience in UK payroll.
- Experience with Oracle desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and friendly phone manner.
- Immediate or short notice availability.
