About the role Mō te tūranga mahi Our team is playing a crucial role in ensuring that people are paid right, on time and in accordance with legislation.To do that we work in partnership with our People and Culture teams and external agencies. In the role you will be responsible for: General payroll administration tasks such as updating changes within our system. Providing support and query resolution on system and employment agreement related policies, legislation, and processes.We have an exciting, but busy period ahead, and we need your support across projects and BAU. We have a few projects underway for 2026 such as our Payroll Replacement project which will need to be tested and process mapped as well as others such as the KiwiSaver legislation and the Data integrity projects. As a Payroll Specialist at ACC, you'll be joining one of New Zealand's largest organisations that serves the people of Aotearoa every day. You will be working in a highly committed and supportive team where training and professional development is integral to your growth and development. This is a fixed term opportunity in Christchurch or Newmarket through to 31 July 2027. About you Mōu As we are willing to train you, we need someone with strong administrative skills and the ability to work in a structured way.
