Job Description

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Finance Operation.

Position Details

Position: Payroll Officer

Rate: £18.68p/h Umbrella

Contract Duration: 2 months with possible extension

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties
  • To assist in the provision of diverse payroll functions to ensure an effective and responsive service to strict deadlines
  • Accurately operate and advise on the use of the SAP system in payroll contexts.
  • Ensure that any overpayments are processed efficiently, effectively and according to set policies to allow for timely recovery.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Payroll Officer or similar role
  • Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
