Payroll Officer

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). This role can be based at either our Carlisle or Newcastle office. This is a part time position, working 25.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Wednesday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. However, we offer flexibility in the working pattern to suit the needs of the candidate and the business.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of both weekly and monthly payroll, while managing all related administrative tasks and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and proven experience in leading, organising and delivering a comprehensive payroll service.
