Job Description
Payroll Manager (Weekly & Monthly High-Volume) 
Step into a senior payroll leadership role where accuracy, control and service resilience are non-negotiable. You'll oversee end-to-end payroll delivery and drive continuous improvement for weekly and monthly payroll operations.

- Strong technical knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory requirements and audit evidence
- Proven people leadership experience (Team Leaders and operational teams)
- Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a root-cause mindset for continuous improvement
- Experience supporting payroll transformation or system implementation (testing, cutover, go-live)
- Experience with public sector or large outsourced/shared services
- Oracle payroll knowledge (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Payroll)
- Experience supporting audit activity
- Practical, senior-level payroll knowledge through leadership/specialist experience
- Desirable: recognised payroll qualification or membership (e.g., CIPP) and continued professional development
- Security vetting to CTC level required
- Must have been resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland for at least 3 years at the point of application
