The Role:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including statutory payments, deductions, pension contributions, and benefits
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is current and compliant
  • Act as the key point of contact for payroll queries internally and externally
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless processing and accurate reporting
  • Continuously review and improve payroll processes to ensure best practice

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a payroll management or senior payroll position
  • Excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation, HMRC compliance, and auto-enrolment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Confident using payroll software and MS Excel
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
