Payroll Delivery Co-Ordinator

Location - Whiteley (Hybrid)

Salary - £27,850 per year

We are looking for a Payroll Delivery Co-Ordinator to join the team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of contractor payrolls.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and confident working to deadlines in a fast-paced payroll environment, with regular interaction across the business and with external contractors.

The Role

You'll be responsible for supporting weekly payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and handling payroll-related queries, ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly contractor payrolls (PAYE, CIS, deemed payrolls)
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and systems
  • Respond to payroll queries via phone and email
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and HMRC requirements
  • Process ad-hoc payments outside of payroll (e.g. VAT or faster payments)
  • Support the team in meeting deadlines and maintaining data accuracy

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • IT literate with good keyboard skills
  • Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential data

Desirable:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Excel skills
