Payroll Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time) - East Belfast
Up to £30,000 + Flexible Hours + Hybrid Working

A highly respected accountancy practice based in East Belfast is currently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team. This opportunity can accommodate either part-time or full-time hours, making it ideal for someone looking for flexibility alongside a rewarding role.

Working within an experienced payroll function, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of payroll clients across various sectors. This position would suit someone who has gained payroll exposure within a bureau or practice environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end payroll processing for a range of clients
  • Managing payroll deadlines efficiently and accurately
  • Handling pension submissions and statutory payments
  • Responding to payroll-related client queries
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance
  • Supporting year-end payroll processes
Ideal Background:
  • Experience working within payroll in a practice or bureau setting
  • Comfortable managing multiple payrolls
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of payroll compliance and legislation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
