A highly respected accountancy practice based in East Belfast is currently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team. This opportunity can accommodate either part-time or full-time hours, making it ideal for someone looking for flexibility alongside a rewarding role.
Working within an experienced payroll function, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of payroll clients across various sectors. This position would suit someone who has gained payroll exposure within a bureau or practice environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- End-to-end payroll processing for a range of clients
- Managing payroll deadlines efficiently and accurately
- Handling pension submissions and statutory payments
- Responding to payroll-related client queries
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance
- Supporting year-end payroll processes
- Experience working within payroll in a practice or bureau setting
- Comfortable managing multiple payrolls
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good understanding of payroll compliance and legislation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Salary of £30-31,000
- Part-time or full-time flexibility available
