Job Description
I'm pleased to be partnering with a long-standing client to recruit a Payroll and Pensions Officer to join the business for a 9 month assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to play a key role within a dynamic and fast-paced payroll team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Payroll Manager to ensure key tasks and deadlines are met
- Knowledge of statutory legislation relating to PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory payments and Pensions
- Testing of system functionality SIT and UAT to ensure statutory legislation relating to PAYE, National Insurance,
- Overseeing the timely and accurate execution of all payrolls & completion of all associated payment
- Responsible for the processing and finalising of the parallel payrolls in line with the defined schedules
- Day to day management of project team allocating resource as required
- Responsible for the escalation of any deviation to the project plan or timeline to the Payroll Manager
- Effective people management skills
- 5+ years payroll experience
- CIPP Qualification desirable
