Job Description

As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while managing and enhancing employee benefits programs. You'll work closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to deliver a smooth and compliant employee experience.

Description

  1. Process monthly payroll for UK employees in collaboration with external payroll providers
  2. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
  3. Administer employee benefits schemes, including pensions, healthcare, and other perks
  4. Provide guidance to employees on payroll and benefits queries
  5. Work with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
  6. Support audits and year-end processes including P11Ds and other HMRC requirements
  7. Continuously review and enhance payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and compliance

Profile

  1. Proven experience in a payroll/benefits position, preferably within a financial or professional services environment
  2. Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and employee benefits schemes
  3. High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  4. Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  5. A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  6. CIPP qualification (or working towards it) is desirable
