Roselands Resourcing are proud to be working with a well-establishedcompany based in Brighton, who are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join their People team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll and benefits professional to take ownership of a broad range of payroll, benefits and employee reward activities within a growing manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working within the HR team and reporting into the Payroll; Manager, As Payroll & Benefits Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, while acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers on payroll and benefits-related queries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the end-to-end monthly payroll process
• Ensuring payroll information is accurate and processed within deadlines
• Managing payroll changes including new starters, leavers, salary changes and deductions
• Acting as a point of contact for employee payroll queries
• Administering company benefits and employee benefit schemes
• Supporting annual benefits and salary review processes
• Maintaining accurate payroll and benefits records
• Liaising with payroll providers and external benefit providers
• Ensuring payroll and benefits processes comply with relevant legislation
• Producing payroll and benefits reports for HR and Finance
• Supporting audits and year-end payroll activities
• Contributing to wider HR, reward and benefits projects

About You

We are looking for an experienced Payroll, Benefits or HR professional with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of UK payroll processes.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in payroll, benefits or a combined HR/payroll role
• Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation
• Experience working with payroll systems and HR systems
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or similarly fast-paced environment would be advantageous

What's on Offer?

• £39,000-£43,000, depending on experience
