Payroll & Pensions AdministratorReporting to the Payroll and Pensions Manager ROI, the successful candidate will work in a fast paced environment in close collaboration with the HR team providing pension administration to both internal and external stakeholders across a dynamic and strongly growing business as well as payroll administration for assigned payroll tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Administration of both Defined Benefit Scheme and Defined Contribution Retirement Savings Plan.
- Preparation of annual pension and life cover renewal; calculating pensionable salaries, death in service cover and contributions annually in accordance with scheme rules; reviewing employee changes that may affect renewal such as membership type and contribution amount and answering queries from pension administrators.
- Co ordinating activities required when an employee is retiring, including arranging retirement training, preparing retirement benefit options statements, and informing payroll of pension details.
- Responsibility for the administration and successful completion of the Debrant & LDZ payroll to agreed schedule and timelines.
- Supporting the successful execution of other ROI payroll tasks as assigned, including weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Provide expert payroll knowledge across all stages of the ECP implementation.
- Attend ECP workshops as required to ensure statutory, regulatory, and business payroll requirements are fully reflected in the solution.
- Review data mapping, transformation rules, and migration outputs.
- Identify data issues and support remediation activities.
- Provide test scenarios and validate payroll test scripts.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in payroll processing and pension administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory deductions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Substantial years of experience with payroll.
- Knowledge of pension schemes.
