Payroll Administrator

Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well established business based in Harrogate on a 12 month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to become part of a friendly and supportive finance team, ensuring payroll operations continue to run smoothly. The role offers an immediate start and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll.
• Prepare and distribute employee payslips and P60s.
• Maintain accurate sickness, holiday, and pension records.
• Respond to day to day payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure payroll data is processed accurately and in line with company procedures.

• Previous experience working within a payroll environment is essential.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
