Job Description

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a Logistics company based in Birchwood who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality payroll service while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

The role:
  • Payroll Administrator to process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
  • Set up and pay new starters & leavers
  • Record and validate time & attendance, absence, sickness, and holiday data
  • Payslip production
  • BACS payment processing
  • Support pension administration, including auto enrolment
  • Deal with payroll queries
  • Support payroll projects and continuous improvement
About you:
  • 1 5 years' payroll administration experience - Salary depends on experience
  • Strong data entry and accuracy skills with high attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of payroll processes and statutory requirements
  • Experience using payroll systems
  • Confidence using Excel
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
