Job Description

Role: Payment Process Manager
Location: London(On-site - 5 days/week)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Key Responsibilities

Payment Operations & Process Transformation

  • Design and implement automated payment processing workflows to replace manual operations.
  • Build scalable financial processes and documentation to support offshore BAU transition.
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and process optimization initiatives.

Financial Operations Management

  • Manage daily payment processing activities.
  • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations across multiple EU markets.
  • Handle invoice validation, cost reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Resolve payment disputes and billing discrepancies.

Strategic Payment Projects

  • Lead initiatives including:
    • Entity creation for payment processing
    • Implementation of invoicing systems
    • Billing process design and rollout
    • Accounts receivable infrastructure setup

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, and Payments.
  • Work closely with Last Mile Rental (LMR) product and program teams.
  • Manage relationships with external fleet providers and vendors.

Offshore Transition & Documentation

  • Develop comprehensive SOPs and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Support the transition of payment operations to offshore teams.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to offshore associates during the transition phase.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in financial operations, payments, billing, or accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience designing or improving operational processes.
  • Strong experience in payment reconciliation, invoicing, and dispute resolution.
  • Proven ability to document SOPs and operational processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (finance, tax, legal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience automating financial workflows or operational processes.
  • Experience supporting multi-country financial operations.
  • Experience with entity setup or AR infrastructure for payment collection.
  • Experience supporting offshore transitions or shared service models.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
