About the Role
We are recruiting for a Payment Services Analyst to join a dynamic operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in financial operations. While experience in financial services or a similar environment would be advantageous, this role is also suitable for recent graduates with strong analytical and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process client payment instructions accurately and on time.
- Handle Sterling and foreign currency payments using standard mechanisms (e.g., Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT).
- Perform reconciliations and support treasury functions, including foreign exchange and money market deals.
- Implement fraud prevention measures across all payment types.
- Ensure service level agreements are met and contribute to process improvements and change projects.
- Provide support and cover for colleagues when required.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good computer literacy and keyboard skills.
- A proactive team player with a desire to learn and develop.
- Previous experience in banking or payment processing is desirable but not essential.
