Patient Safety Business Administrative Apprentice

We are excited to offer Business Administration Apprentices the rare opportunity to work in a team whose job is to improve the clinical care of patients at Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital.

Main duties of the job

This administrative role is key in supporting the Lead Nurse for Patient Safety to produce innovative clinical solutions to solve problems that we encounter. If you are a proactive, enthusiastic individual who would like to add something truly unique to your CV then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This role also includes contact with patients and families in addition to other professionals. We are therefore seeking a friendly, caring individual who is confident communicating with a wide variety of people.

You will be employed on an 18-month fixed-term training contract working 37.5 hours per week. Time will be given to attend training sessions required for the role. You will also benefit from:

  • A dedicated team who will support you as you work towards your Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
  • A generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days plus 8 days public holiday.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy
  • Maths and English Grade C (4/5) or above
KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
