Job Description
Pathology Project Manager - Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) The Role
  • Global Pathology set up functions for digital pathology requests, ensuring accurate and timely set up of the digital pathology application (MIRA), SOP creation,
  • Liaise and coordinate a global team of external histopathologist key opinion leaders, dealing with queries related to this group as they arise.
  • Coordinate Pathologist and external Pathology KOL.
  • Ensure all work is delivered to KOLs, read, and reported within agreed TAT.
  • Act as point of contact and main vendor manager for a limited number of external Pathology AI vendors.
  • Onboard new Pathology KOLs and Pathology vendors as required.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation associated with Pathology KOLs is kept up to date and in compliance.
  • Lead, facilitate and engage in sponsor audits, where aspects of the ICL digital pathology service is being audited.
  • Oversee administrative tasks for Pathology software.
  • Perform administrative pathology tasks as directed by lab manager / lab director.
  • Generate pathology management reports.
  • Monitor and track the awarding of new studies and proactively engage with pathology stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of cross functional project(s).
    Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop full scale cross functional project plans.
  • Assembly and coordinate project staff.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies for projects.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results.
What you need
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Pharmaceutical, CRO, or Clinical environments is preferred.
  • Histopathology lab experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
