Job Description

We offer a minimum 45 hour per week employment contract; however, we also discuss part time contracts on a flexible basis to suit your individual schedule.

What you'll be doing

As Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the production of our lunch, afternoon tea and dinner pastry/dessert offering, using your skills to demonstrate innovation and respond to current food trends.

What you'll need

The successful candidate for the role of Pastry Sous Chef will be professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to creating amazing desserts and an afternoon tea that gets people talking.

  • Credible experience within a professional food environment; Professional Cookery qualification to Level 3 4 or proven experience.
  • A creative flair and passion for producing amazing desserts, imaginative cakes and pastries.
  • Great time keeping and organisational skills to plan ahead.
  • Commitment, resilience and the ability to work under pressure alongside being an excellent team player.
