Pastoral Tutor - East London

Pastoral Tutors - Further Education Supporting Learners Aged 16-19 Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting passionate and experienced Pastoral Tutors to support students aged 16-19 at leading Further Education colleges across East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with their wellbeing, attendance, personal development and academic progress.

The Role

• Provide pastoral support to learners aged 16-19.
• Deliver engaging group tutorials and 1:1 support sessions.
• Monitor student attendance, progress and wellbeing.
• Help learners overcome personal or academic barriers.
• Work closely with lecturers, safeguarding teams and other support services.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and progression.

Essential Requirements

• Previous pastoral, tutoring, mentoring or student-support experience.
• Experience working with young people within education or a similar setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, reliable and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
