This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral support to students across the school.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to support their wellbeing, confidence, and engagement in education.
• Support students with behaviour, attendance, emotional regulation, and personal development.
• Deliver interventions and mentoring sessions for students requiring additional support.
• Work closely with teaching staff and safeguarding teams to identify and address barriers to learning.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support.
• Monitor student progress, wellbeing, and attendance, maintaining accurate records where required.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring, care, or support setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach.
• Strong behaviour management and conflict-resolution skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and development of young people.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection practices.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
