Role and About the School

Robert Blair School is a one form entry primary school with Under 3's provision situated near the Caledonian Road. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Pastoral Care Manager who will lead on safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, personal development and extended day provision. We have high aspirations for our children and believe in the importance of providing an enriched, creative curriculum, together with a high-quality environment and excellent pastoral care. Our school rules are: be mindful, be ready, be safe. We are seeking a dedicated and committed professional who will demonstrate our values: we care for each other and work together. Our vision is that all pupils strive for the highest possible achievement to be the best they can be. They value and respect themselves, others, their local, national and global community and that they are passionate about learning and pursuing excellence. As our Pastoral Care Manager, you will be non-class based and lead a small team. You will work in close partnership with the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads in the school: the Head of School and the Assistant Head teacher, as well as the SENDCo. You will be a member of our leadership team and continue to build on our strong partnership working with wider services, including CAMHS, School Well-Being Service, Early Help, our Education Welfare Officer and health professionals.
