Our Finance team are looking for an experienced Partnership Accountant to join the team.
As part of Baringa's finance team, the Partner Finance team prides itself on providing an exemplary service to partners as shareholders of the business - from onboarding, their time as active partners and also as they exit the partnership. We are embarking on an exciting journey of building our shareholder finance provision into one that still feels personal but is process-driven, fully tech-enabled and scalable.
What you will be doing
With the support of the Director of Partner Finance, a key focus will be partner compensation for our 200 global partners including the calculation of partner remuneration, projections, and distributions. We are at an exciting phase in the evolution of Partner Finance, embarking on a replatforming of our complex model and revamp of our partner collateral, and your role will be pivotal in the support and implementation of this.
The key responsibilities include:
- Partner compensation:
Deep understanding of Baringa's partnership model, and calculation of annual profit sharing, equity points issue and allocation of valuation across all partners.
Calculation of quarterly partner capital distributions.
Delivery of the bi-annual individual partners' financial detail (aka "financial strips
