The Participation of children, young people and adults in the City of Wolverhampton is a key priority. This role supports the youth and adult voice forums such as Youth Council, HY5!, Families on Board, The Children in Care Council, The Care Leavers Independent Collective Forum, Adult Voice and Choice, The Guardians, and Parent Panels.
Responsibilities- Support the youth and adult voice forums, ensuring their views inform service delivery and strategy.
- Work evenings and some weekends, providing flexible hours in response to service needs.
- Collect, analyse and present data on participants' perspectives to influence service design.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and service teams.
- Evidence of working effectively with adults, children, and young people.
- Knowledge of issues related to adult, children and family services.
- Experience using various consulting methods with different groups and communities.
- Analytical skills.
- Experience engaging users and carers in service planning and delivery.
- Ability to operate within a performance management framework.
- Experience working in multicultural communities.
