Part-Qualified Management Accountant

Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Rate: £200-£250 per day
IR35: Inside IR35 (umbrella contract only)

Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team on a short-term contract in Reading. This role is ideal for someone with foundational accounting experience, eager to contribute to management reporting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries

• Assist with financial reconciliations and reporting

• Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis and projects

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely financial information

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accounting status (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in management accounting or finance

• Strong Excel and financial systems skills

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Contract Details:

• 3-month fixed-term contract

• Hybrid working (office in Reading, flexible remote days)

• Inside IR35, umbrella only
