Job Description

We're working with a highly respected and forward-thinking Wealth Management firm offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their established team in Cambridge.

This firm takes pride in delivering exceptional client outcomes through a collaborative approach to financial planning, supported by cutting-edge technology and a strong culture of professional development.

You'll be joining a growing Paraplanning Centre of Excellence, working closely with experienced Financial Planners and Client Executives to deliver bespoke, compliant, and high-quality advice to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed and compliant suitability reports and recommendation letters
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify appropriate financial planning solutions
  • Perform cashflow modelling and prepare tax calculations where required
  • Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain investment and policy information
  • Support client review meetings and maintain accurate, compliant client files
  • Ensure adherence to FCA principles, compliance standards, and internal processes
  • Collaborate and share best practice with colleagues, including peer reviews and technical support
About You
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum)
  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within Financial Services
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, and protection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised approach to workload
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (advanced Word/Excel) and provider platforms
  • Passionate about personal development, with ambitions to progress toward Advanced Diploma or Chartered Status
