The role:
A painter and decorator applies paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings to protect them and improve their appearance. They prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing old paint/wallpaper, filling cracks, and sanding, followed by applying paint with rollers, brushes, or sprays, or hanging wall coverings.
About you:You will hold a NVQ 2 and a blue skilled worker card. You will have experience in painting and decorating.
You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be wary of others who are working alongside them.
You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:- Previous experience in a Painting and Decorating position.
- You will have a Blue Skilled Worker Card and NVQ 2.
- Strong work ethic in a team.
- Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
