Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology - Inherited Cardiac Conditions

We are seeking an outstanding and forward thinking Consultant in Inherited Cardiac Conditions to join our growing paediatric cardiology service. This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen and further develop our provision for patients with inherited cardiac conditions, alongside delivering high-quality general paediatric cardiology care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the full range of paediatric cardiology activities, including outpatient clinics, inpatient care, service weeks, on call rota participation, and MDT working.
• Diagnose, manage and provide long term follow up for children and families with inherited cardiac disorders.
• Develop clinical pathways and collaborate with regional and tertiary partners.
• Deliver peripheral clinics to support equitable access to specialist care across the wider network.
• Lead service development, innovation and quality improvement initiatives within inherited cardiac conditions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Board eligible or board certified Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology.
• Sub specialty interest and experience in inherited cardiac conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical leadership.
