Associate Specialist Packaging Characterization

Purpose of the role

Under the direction of the Team lead of Extraneous Matter and Packaging Characterization (based in Oss), you are responsible for performing various packaging characterization activities, documenting raw data, and reporting results.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and executing various analytical tasks related to packaging characterization (Tensile Testing, Water Vapor and Moisture Transmission analysis, Container Closure Integrity Testing, Leak Testing, Rub Testing, determining dimensions of packaging containers, etc.);
• Registering samples, documenting raw data, writing study protocols and reporting results;
• Keeping good order in the lab and complying with applicable EHS guidelines.

Your profile

• HBO in a technical field, with a few years of (preferably pharmaceutical) industry experience;
• Some experience in material science in general and with packaging characterization in particular;
• Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebook is preferred;
• Knowledge of cGMP is an advantage;
• Proficient in scientific/technical writing and current computer usage (MS Office);
• Fluent English and Dutch.
