Location: East Grinstead (The Birches)
Position Type: Full-time, 3-Month Contract (Replacement)
Hours: 38 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour (Equivalent to a £26,596.96 annual salary)
Shift Pattern (Enjoy an early finish on Fridays!)- Monday to Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM
- No overtime or shift allowance.
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Packaging Associate I to join our onsite team in East Grinstead. In this role, you will be a key support to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, handling everything from order processing and goods in/out to general warehouse maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a background in warehouse operations to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics & Order Processing: Pick, pack, label, and load shipments efficiently.
- Warehouse Operations: Manage goods in/out, deliver items to internal recipients, and ensure correct storage of all materials and finished products.
- Inventory & Admin: Assist with stock counts, generate shipping documents (invoicing, Certificate of Origin), and maintain a clear filing system.
- Equipment & Safety: Use Forklifts (Counterbalance + Reach trucks) safely, perform forklift maintenance checks, and strictly uphold health and safety standards.
- Security & Processes: Conduct GTC screening for visitors, customers, and orders.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy is required.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift licenses (Counterbalance and Reach trucks).
- Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred.
- Attributes: A collaborative team player who is ready to assist in other areas of the department whenever required.
- Full standard PPE will be provided onsite.
