Overview of the Department/Section
Our market leading Structured Finance Department (ESFO) has provided project finance solutions for over 20 years. During this time, we have been consistently ranked at the top of Project Finance League tables globally over the last 10 years.
We offer comprehensive advisory and debt arrangement for the non-recourse and limited recourse financing of long-term, capital intensive projects. Our specialist teams focus on a range of sectors, including power & renewables, infrastructure, natural resources, and housing finance.
Our Structured Project Finance team consists of more than 320 individuals worldwide and uses MUFG's financial strength and global reach to implement innovative, bespoke and effective finance arrangements for our clients.
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Structured Finance Teams in London and a number of overseas offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day to day direct support to the various teams within the Structured Finance department, (ESFO currently employs c.85 employees)
- Play a key role in the smooth running of the Structured Finance Office for EMEA
- Duties to include travel bookings via our travel agency such as flights, trains, hotels, car hire and also processing VISA applications when necessary
- Completion of expense claims including the handling of reimbursable expenses
- Client meeting coordination including food & beverage
- Management and attendance of weekly internal meetings
- Coordination of some internal/team meetings
- Monitor shared PA mailbox on a monthly basis to assist with overseas visitor passes
- Processing Gift & Hospitality forms
- Assistance with preparation of presentations/pitchbooks and typing as required by the teams
- Sending and distributing external mail
- Ordering of business cards, corporate cards and IT equipment for new joiners (Be responsible for all administrative arrangements for new joiners into ESFO)
- Helping with the coordination of ESFO events when required
- Providing temporary cover for other support staff as required
Work Experience
Previous experience of a support role within the financial services.

- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
