Job Title: P6 Planner
Location: Bristol/Gloucester & Cardiff Corridor (3-4 days onsite per week)
Rate: £420 - £450 per day (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 6 months

Are you an experienced P6 Planner looking to make a significant impact in the Electricity Transmission sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity where your expertise in development, tendering, and construction planning will shine.

Your Role:
As a P6 Planner, you will be at the forefront of ensuring project success through meticulous planning and analysis. You will:

• Provide critical planning expertise across all project phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish timelines for quality assured deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with all planning processes, aiding the Project Manager with insights and recommendations.
• Conduct thorough analysis of planning variances and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with key stakeholders to produce cost-loaded programmes.
• Support the Contracts team in evaluating tender returns.
• Own all aspects of the planning process, including integrated programmes and scenario mapping.
• Certify contractor programmes' compliance with NEC and works information.
• Provide monthly contractor programme analysis and feedback.
• Maintain a consistent project baseline to measure performance.
• Conduct impact assessments for early warnings or change events.
• Represent the organization while liaising with contractor planning resources.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Interpersonal Skills: Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of P6 or equivalent planning tools.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess changes and perform forensic analysis on time risk allowances.
• Regulatory Understanding: Familiarity with key NEC clauses for Planning and Early Warning.
• Cost Management Skills: Competence in WBS Cost Management and cost-loaded programme management.
