P2P Application Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced P2P Application Specialist to support a major Procure-to-Pay implementation programme centred on Coupa and integrated with SAP. This position will play a key role in solution configuration, workstream leadership, testing, deployment activities, and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.

The successful candidate will help deliver best-practice procurement processes and systems, translating business requirements into effective Coupa configurations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract: 5 Months
Location: Slovakia, Czech-Republic OR Hungary
Working Model: mainly Remote with 1 week a month working from Bratislava

Language Skills: Fluent in Slovak, Hungarian OR Czech required

You will:

• Translate Fit-Gap analysis outcomes into system configuration requirements within Coupa.
• Configure and deploy Coupa solutions in line with business needs, global standards, and SAP integration requirements.
• Review and validate Coupa configuration, integration designs, testing activities, and deployment readiness.
• Lead the Configuration workstream, managing deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert for Coupa-related configuration activities.
• Collaborate with support teams and project stakeholders throughout the implementation life cycle.
• Maintain configuration and design documentation, ensuring updates reflect changes, enhancements, and new releases.
• Ensure appropriate change control processes are followed for all deployments.
• Develop and execute user acceptance testing and regression testing activities.
• Work closely with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to support integrations with connected systems.
• Contribute to change management and training initiatives where required.
• Support the development of training materials and demonstrations for new functionality.

Required experience:

• 10+ years of experience working with Coupa configuration and related activities.
• Current Coupa certification.
• Experience with release management and system governance for cloud-based procurement applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven analytical and change impact assessment experience.
• Strong relationship-building and engagement skills.
• Process and technology-focused mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with ERP platforms, particularly SAP, would be advantageous.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% when required.
• Commitment to following established company policies and procedures.
