As an order picker, you are responsible for collecting and preparing orders in the warehouse. You do this using a scanner. You are in regular contact with colleagues and suppliers - often in English - to ensure that all orders are complete and ready on time for delivery to seagoing vessels in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Your work is varied and you contribute directly to the success of the team. Sometimes it gets a little busier, and you don't mind working an extra hour to get the job done properly.

Working days and hours: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including a 60-minute break.

The company is an international supplier to the shipping industry, with a modern warehouse in Europoort Rotterdam. From here, seagoing vessels are supplied with food, technical materials and tools. Think of it as a combination of a supermarket and a DIY store, but specifically for ships.

There is a pleasant, informal working atmosphere with a great deal of mutual respect. You will be part of a permanent team of 12 warehouse employees of 8 different nationalities. Collegiality, humour and teamwork are central here.

Wat wij vragen

• You have your own transport (there is no public transport to the location).
• You speak basic English (communication with colleagues and suppliers).
• You have experience with an electric pallet truck (EPT) - experience with a reach truck is an advantage.
• You are flexible and willing to work occasional short overtime hours.

Wat wij bieden

• Gross salary between €2,700 and €3,000 per month, depending on experience.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre (max. €275 per month).
• 8% holiday pay, paid in May.
• Good pension through ASR.
