Customer Service

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

LOCATION: Office

The candidate will process orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy. Coordinating order and date amendments. Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure the customer requirements are met. Responsible for ownership of orders/accounts ensuring no orders are in the past.

Main Responsibilities
  • Answering telephone calls/emails from customers or internal company departments
  • Inputting all customer orders on the company ERP System - SAP
  • Ensure all order details are supplied by the customer and contact customers where information is missing
  • Ability to manage customer accounts and be the main point of contact for all order related queries
  • Managing quality checks on all orders
  • Managing daily reports ensuring there are no issues with orders
  • Control bulk order management and reduce bulks accordingly when cut length schedules are received, whilst also ensuring that bulk orders are phased correctly
  • Liaise with Planning, Transport, Sales, and Operations departments when required to effectively manage customer order requirements, to provide the best experience for the customer
  • Liaise with customers regarding delays due to manufacture/stock
  • Routing of complaints to the aftercare department
  • Updating customers when lead times cannot be met
