Job Title: Oracle Project Manager - Cloud Infrastructure

Hours: Full time (40-hours per week)

Location: UK Remote/Colchester (x3 days in the office)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager / Engagement Manager to lead client-facing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) engagements with a focus on data platforms, pipelines, integrations, and Oracle APEX solutions. This role sits within a consulting and delivery organization, responsible for driving successful outcomes across complex, multi-workstream Oracle programs while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

The successful candidate will combine strong delivery governance, Oracle Cloud domain knowledge, and consulting leadership to manage scope, risk, financials, and stakeholder expectations across enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of OCI and data -based consulting engagements, from initiation through closure
  • Serve as the primary client interface, owning delivery outcomes, executive communication, and issue resolution
  • Facilitate discovery, roadmap definition, and delivery planning workshops
  • Manage engagement scope, change control, and contractual commitments

Program & Project Governance

  • Establish and enforce delivery governance, reporting, and quality controls
  • Manage integrated plans across infrastructure, data, integrations, and application (APEX) workstreams
  • Track and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints
  • Provide regular status reporting to client and internal leadership (SteerCos, QBRs)
  • Oversee design and delivery of OCI environments, including:
    • Compute, Storage, Networking (VCN, Load Balancers, VPN, FastConnect)
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM), compartments, security policies
    • High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and operational readiness
  • Ensure OCI architectures align with client enterprise, security, and compliance standards

Data Platforms, Apps & Integration Delivery

  • Lead delivery of data products and platforms on OCI, including ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines
  • Oversee integration delivery using OCI Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and event-driven architectures
  • Coordinate closely with data architects, integration leads, and cloud engineers to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Manage delivery of Oracle APEX-based applications as part of broader OCI and data initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between low-code application delivery, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Balance speed of delivery with enterprise quality, security, and maintainability standards.

Financial and Client Management

  • Budget tracking, forecasting, and margin management
  • Change requests and commercial negotiations
  • Support account growth through identification of follow-on opportunitiesLead cross-functional consulting teams (architects, engineers, developers, analysts)
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to delivery team members
  • Collaborate with Oracle, alliance partners, and internal practices to bring best-fit solutions to clients.

The list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required. Travel should be expected as part of this role.

Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of consulting delivery experience within a System Integrator or professional services organization
  • 3+ years leading Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) programs
  • Proven experience managing data, integration, and application delivery in enterprise environments
  • Strong client-facing leadership and executive communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Scrum Master
